3 minute read on your wants, needs and creating clarity

Here is something to remind yourself, a quote that I loved and a question to ask yourself for this week…

Something to remind yourself…

Love Oprah’s advice for success: “The most important question is this: People get to where they want to go because they know where they want to go. Most people don’t know where they want to go. A lot of people are going and being driven by what they think they should do. What other people say they should do, or what they’ve carried in their minds for a long time as something they should do. But the most important question you can ever ask yourself is, ‘What do I really want?’ Once you establish the answer to that and ensure that everything you do, every choice you make, moves you in the direction of your vision, life changes. When you do that, the forces of life rise up to meet you. The reason most people have such chaotic lives is that they’re living in chaos in their heads. As soon as you get clear, life clears up.” AMEN!

I.

If you don’t know what you want, it’s hard to stay true to yourself. You end up living the way others expect you to, instead of following your own path. Get clear on what you really want, so you can live authentically and on your own terms.

II.

If you feel unclear about what you want, try this: Take 10 minutes today, grab a notebook, and ask yourself: What do I really want? Not what others expect, not what you think you should want, but what feels true to you.
If the answer doesn’t come to you right away, don’t stress, try again tomorrow. Ask yourself this question over and over again. What you want doesn’t have to be a specific job, a relationship status, or a material goal, it can simply be a feeling.
The answers are already inside you, waiting. You just need to ask the question and stay open to receiving what’s buried deep within. Trust the process, and clarity will come.

A quote that I loved…

An underrated green flag when someone noticed you’re stressed and quietly handles the small things to lighten your load.

A question to ask yourself…

What am I tolerating in my life right now that I know deep down needs to change?
